How-to: Sending messages from Churchillians.net with Yahoo Mail
By configuring your mail client to send messages from your churchillians.net address, your recipients' software will address replies to your churchillians.net address (rather than to your 'real' address). This is important because they will add your churchillians.net address to their address books and will always use that address to reach you. They will have to do nothing, and probably will not even notice, if/when you change your 'real' address in future years!
- Login to your Yahoo e-mail
- Click the 'Options' link making sure you are using the 'classic view'.
- Select the 'Mail Addresses' link under the 'Management' heading.
- Step 1 – Enter the name you wish to give the account and click continue (enter, for example, 'churchillians.net')
- Step 2 – Enter the display name you wish to appear to others who receive the email (e.g. John Smith) and also enter your Churchillians.net address. Click 'continue'.

- Step 3 – Click the 'skip this step' button
- Step 4 – Click the 'send a verification email' button; an email will be sent to your Churchillians.net address and ultimately to the personal address linked to your Churchillians.net address (which might be this Yahoo account itself).
- Click the link in the email and click the verify button.

- You will now be able to send and receive emails from both your Churchillians.net and Yahoo accounts by selecting the relevant address in the drop down list in the 'From' field of your new message.
